Your legal duty
The law behind this training
This course is awareness training on how supervisors and managers apply the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 on site, in line with HSE's L153 guidance. It is not legal advice and does not replace CITB's Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). Your company's procedures and the construction phase plan always apply. It describes the law in Great Britain; Northern Ireland has its own, closely matching regulations.
One thing to be clear about: CDM is not paperwork for its own sake. It is about planning, managing and co-ordinating work so that people go home safe and healthy, and supervisors and managers are where that happens.

Practicalities
How the course works
For employers
Buying for a team
Buying for more than a couple of people is easier on an account: one invoice, licences you allocate as staff join, and a report of who has done what and when it expires.
- One invoice instead of one card payment per person
- Allocate licences as people join
- Completion and expiry reporting for your records
- Bespoke versions written around your own procedures
