The NEBOSH National General Certificate is the UK's most respected health and safety qualification for managers and aspiring safety professionals. As a Gold Learning Partner we deliver it with a named 1:1 learning advisor, embedded eLearning revision and assessment support — plus the construction, fire and award-level NEBOSH routes.
IOSH Managing Safely is the most widely held health and safety certificate for line managers and supervisors in the UK: three practical days, assessed by a short test and a workplace project. Working Safely covers every employee and Leading Safely is built for directors.

It depends on your role. Employees and operatives usually start with IOSH Working Safely or the one-day CITB Health & Safety Awareness (also the route to a Green CSCS card). Supervisors take SSSTS or IOSH Managing Safely; site managers need SMSTS; anyone moving into a health and safety role should look at the NEBOSH National General Certificate. IOSH Managing Safely is a 3-day course for managers and supervisors who need practical, working knowledge of health and safety. The NEBOSH National General Certificate is a Level 3 qualification (10 taught days plus assessment) for those who want a recognised qualification and a route into a health and safety career. Many organisations use IOSH for line managers and NEBOSH for their safety leads.
Labourers need the Green card (CITB Health & Safety Awareness plus the HSE test). Skilled trades need Blue (NVQ Level 2) or Gold (NVQ Level 3). Supervisors need the Gold Supervisory card, site managers the Black card, and degree-qualified or chartered professionals a White AQP or PQP card. Prices depend on the course and delivery route. eLearning courses start from under £30, one-day classroom courses such as CITB HSA from around £150 + VAT, IOSH Managing Safely and SMSTS are priced per delegate with group discounts, and onsite delivery is quoted per day for the whole group. Interest-free instalments are available through Klarna, and ELCAS funding for eligible service leavers.
Yes. Every NEBOSH, IOSH, CITB, first aid and awareness course can be delivered at your premises anywhere in the UK, or live online for dispersed teams. Onsite delivery is usually the most cost-effective option for six or more learners.
