Studied for me Nebosh General in Feb 26 with Alan Starr. Very pleased with all the support from both Alan and Matt, very happy to have passed. I feel without the support this enabled me to get my Nebosh. The course was full of examples and scenarios, which gave a better insight of expectations and real life situations. Carpentry NVQs

Grants for Carpentry NVQs

As the construction industry transitions from Industry Accreditation (IA) cards to recognised qualifications like NVQs, CITB supports this evolution through Short Qualification Grants. These grants offer financial aid for NVQs, facilitating the advancement of construction workers in their careers. With grants ranging from £600 to £1,500, CITB encourages individuals to pursue qualifications in construction areas. 

CSCS Cards for Carpentry NVQs

The Blue Skilled Worker card is designated for individuals who have successfully obtained Carpentry NVQ’s at level 2, completed an apprenticeship (including Employer-sponsored apprenticeships, City and Guilds of London Institute Craft Certificate, or a CSCS Approved Trailblazer), or have acquired another industry-approved qualification.

The Gold Skilled Worker card is specifically designed for individuals who have reached the milestone of attaining Carpentry NVQ’s at level 3, completed an apprenticeship (including Employer-sponsored apprenticeships, City and Guilds of London Institute Craft Certificate, or a CSCS Approved Trailblazer), or have obtained another industry-approved qualification.
