Nebosh General

Studied for me Nebosh General in Feb 26 with Alan Starr. Very pleased with all the support from both Alan and Matt, very happy to have passed. I feel without the support this enabled me to get my Nebosh. The course was full of examples and scenarios, which gave a better insight of expectations and real life situations. Thanks so much Academe, I will be enrolling a few members of my management team to complete IOSH in the near future.

This comprehensive training programme covers key areas such as understanding industry hazards, interpreting manufacturer’s guidelines, conducting pre-operational checks, and mastering the operation of the lift truck in various environments. Emphasising safety and compliance, the course also addresses the correct procedures for load handling and transportation. Upon successful completion, candidates receive an NPORS-accredited certification, valid for five years, demonstrating their competence and commitment to maintaining high industry standards.

  • Manoeuvring and positioning the machine accurately in restricted and open areas
  • Lifting, transporting, and placing different load types using correct procedures
  • Carrying out shutdown and securing procedures at the end of the working day or task
Methods of Assessment

The method of assessment is a three-step journey:

A written assessment covering regulations, machine controls, and operational safety.

Candidates will demonstrate the safe operation of the tool, including pre-operational checks and performing tasks.
