It’s one of those terms that gets thrown around in health and safety circles as if everyone already knows it. NEBOSH stands for the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health. It’s not a training provider itself. It’s the organisation that sets the syllabus, writes the exams and awards the qualification, a bit like how an exam board sets GCSEs even though your actual lessons happen at a school.
