The pathway

How to get the White PQP card

  1. 1

Check your grade, not just your membership

Since 30 June 2023 CSCS only accept professionally qualified grades. Associate and lower grades no longer qualify.

  2. 2

Pass the MAP or CIC test

The Managers and Professionals test, or the CIC Health and Safety Test.

  3. 3

Apply with proof of current membership

A certificate, membership card, dated letter or email, a payment receipt or a dated screenshot of the body's website.

    Applying for the card

    Apply on the CSCS website£36

Paid to CSCS, not to us. Do not pay more than this: CSCS say the standard application fee is all it costs.

You qualify for this card if

  • You are a current member of an approved professional body at a professionally qualified grade
  • You have passed the Managers and Professionals test or the CIC Health and Safety Test
