Our asbestos awareness programme here at Acadame is designed to equip workers and supervisors throughout Manchester with the necessary knowledge, instruction, and training to steer clear of activities that could potentially disturb asbestos during routine work or tasks that involve the manipulation of building materials or items that might harbour asbestos.
By enrolling in our course based in Bury, participants can enhance their understanding of asbestos’s characteristics, properties, and its health implications, including the heightened risk of lung cancer among asbestos exposed individuals who smoke.
We also offer this training in Stoke-on-Trent and Liverpool.
Supervisors and trades personnel, including trainees such as but not limited to: demolition workers, construction workers, general maintenance staff, electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, painters and decorators, joiners, plasterers, roofers, heating and ventilation engineers, telecommunication engineers, fire and burglar alarm installers, computer installers, architects, building surveyors, shopfitters and other such professionals.
