This Manual Handling Awareness Course, delivered from the Acadame HQ in Stoke-on-Trent and across the UK, is organised by knowledgeable experts with industry experience. During this half-day course, you will be instructed on how to conduct a personal risk assessment, and how to understand the risks linked with manual handling. This Manual Handling Awareness Course helps employers ensure that they and their employees are sufficiently trained in the principles and practices of safe manual handling.

 

It follows the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) and provides a practical guide for managing and carrying out safe and healthy manual handling. The course also features videos, diagrams, and downloadable resources to use in your workplace.

Assessment will be by multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. Learners are also expected to actively participate during the course.

Will I be issued with a certificate upon successful Manual Handling completion?

Yes. On successful completion the learner will receive a digital Acadame certificate. The certificate will be forwarded at a later date. A proof of pass can be immediately provided if required though.

How long is the Manual Handling certificate valid for?

Certification for this course is valid for 3 years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to take a refresher course before the expiry date.
