The White PQP (Professionally Qualified Person) card is accessible to individuals who have undergone a competency assessment and are members of professional bodies approved by CSCS.
This card holds a validity period of five years.

Step 1
Applicants will need to supply proof that they hold current membership of the professional body at a level accepted by CSCS, by providing one of the following (please note that membership is required to be renewed annually and the below evidence must confirm membership for the current calendar year and the level of membership held):
• A membership certificate (which shows membership for the current calendar year).
• A membership card (both sides, confirming membership for the current calendar year).
• An up-to-date letter or email from the professional body confirming membership for the current calendar year.
• A receipt of payment for membership for the current calendar year.
• A clearly dated screenshot showing your current membership, from your professional body’s website.
Step 2
All applicants must pass the CITB health, safety and environment test (HSE) for Managers or Professionals.

Managers and professionals in the construction industry are responsible for complying with, embedding and implementing effective HS&E practices. Ultimately, this reduces the number of fatalities and accidents. To ensure that managers and professionals have the right health, safety and environmental knowledge to support them in carrying out their role the test covers the following six core knowledge areas:

The pass mark for the Managers and Professionals test is 90%. To pass, you need to answer at least 45 out of 50 questions correctly.
