Nebosh General

Studied for me Nebosh General in Feb 26 with Alan Starr. Very pleased with all the support from both Alan and Matt, very happy to have passed. I feel without the support this enabled me to get my Nebosh. The course was full of examples and scenarios, which gave a better insight of expectations and real life situations. Thanks so much Academe, I will be enrolling a few members of my management team to complete IOSH in the near future.

This gold card is accessible to individuals in supervisory and technical occupations upon the successful attainment of a Construction Related Supervisory/Technical NVQ or SVQ at Level 3 or 4.

The card is valid for a period of five years.

How to get a Gold Supervisory CSCS Card

How do I apply for a Gold Superviser CSCS Card?

Not sure when your card expires? You can either download the CSCS Smart Check app on App Store or Google Play to check any construction industry card displaying the CSCS logo, or you can use the online card checker.

You should complete the CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course. We have one running weekly from our centre in Stoke-on-Trent. Alternatively you can complete an RQF Level 1/SCQF Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

All applicants must pass the CITB health, safety and environment test (HSE) for Supervisors. You can select this option when booking online or let the team know if you’re booking over the phone.

The quickest and most convenient way to apply for your Gold Superviser CSCS card is via the CSCS online application service.

CITB Internet Test Centre (ITC)

An Internet Test Centre (ITC) is a centre approved by CITB to provide testing facilities for tests such as the Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test and Managers and Professionals (MaPs) test as well as many more.

Completing the HSE tests is a step towards your CSCS card, you will also need your individual course or qualifications depending on which card you want, for example the Green Labourers CSCS card you will have to have completed a Level 1 H&S or CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course and a CITB HS&E Operatives Test to apply for your Green Labourers CSCS card.
