Your legal duty
The law behind slips, trips and falls training
There is no regulation called the slips and trips regulations. The duties sit in the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, which require floors and traffic routes to be suitable, in good condition and free from obstructions, and to be kept free from anything that may cause a person to slip, trip or fall.
On top of that sits the general duty to assess risk. Because slips and trips are so ordinary, they are frequently missed out of risk assessments altogether. That is exactly why they remain the leading cause of major injury.

Slips Trips and Falls eLearning: common questions
Not by that name. The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 require floors and traffic routes to be safe and free from obstruction, and the general duty to provide information and training applies to that risk like any other.
Everyone's. The employer must provide safe floors and routes; employees must take reasonable care and not create hazards. The course is explicit that walking past a spill is a decision.
No. Falls from height are covered by the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and have their own course. This is same-level slips, trips and falls.
It depends on the floor, the contamination and the task, and the course explains how to judge it. Where footwear is needed as PPE, the employer provides it free of charge.
