The Acadame Fire Marshal/Warden & Safe Use of Fire Extinguisher Course, delivered by industry experts across the UK, equips participants with essential knowledge to implement in the workplace. Appointing a designated fire marshal is a crucial aspect of workplace fire safety.
This course provides the theoretical training required to become a qualified fire warden. It covers legal responsibilities, an understanding of fire behaviour, identification of fire hazards, and fire safety arrangements. Additionally, it outlines the key components of emergency evacuation procedures. By completing this course, participants will be prepared to take responsibility for fire safety in the workplace and contribute to the wellbeing of all employees.
This course is designed for employees responsible for overseeing fire safety and ensuring proper fire conduct in the workplace.
The tutor splits the course into two components. You will first attend a classroom theory component.
Delegates will also have to complete a short written assessment at the end of the course.
The practical element includes a demonstration of the different types of extinguishers as well as fire safety signs around the building.
