About Course

This Manual Handling Awareness Course, delivered from the Acadame HQ and available across the UK, is run by experienced professionals with a solid background in the field. Over the course of a half day, you’ll be guided through how to carry out a personal risk assessment and understand the dangers linked to manual handling tasks. Every course is delivered with consistent care and high standards.

The course helps employers make sure they and their staff are properly trained in the correct methods and principles of safe manual handling.

This course meets the standards set by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) and offers straightforward advice on how to manage manual handling safely. Our session includes videos, visual aids, and downloadable materials you can use on the job.

  • Outline employee’s responsibilities related to the manual handling operations regulations
  • Outline employer’s responsibilities under the manual handling operations regulations

Assessment will be by multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. Learners are also expected to actively participate during the course.
