This Manual Handling Awareness Course, delivered from the Acadame HQ and available across the UK, is run by experienced professionals with a solid background in the field. Over the course of a half day, you’ll be guided through how to carry out a personal risk assessment and understand the dangers linked to manual handling tasks.     • Health and safety at work act
    • Management of health and safety regulations
    • Provision and use of work equipment regulations
    • Lifting operation and lifting equipment regulations
  • Outline the consequences for not complying with health and safety legislation
  • Outline employee’s responsibilities related to the manual handling operations regulations
  • Outline employer’s responsibilities under the manual handling operations regulations
  • Identify manual handling operations within the work environment
  • Identify ways of avoiding manual handling operations

The method of assessment is a one-step journey:

Assessment will be by multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. Learners are also expected to actively participate during the course.
