This Abrasive Wheel Safety Course, delivered from the Acadame HQ in Stoke-on-Trent and across the UK, is organised by knowledgeable experts with industry experience. During this half-day course, you will ensure that those using, mounting and managing the operation of Abrasive Wheels, are fully informed and properly trained in their safe use.
This course covers the anatomy of an abrasive wheel, the dangers associated with their use, storage and handling and much more.

Suitability
People who use abrasive wheels or other grinding and cutting tools in their work should attend this course.
Assessment
Assessment will be by multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. Learners are also expected to actively participate during the course.
Duration
This classroom course is held over ½ day, typically about 3.5 hours.

Yes. On successful completion the learner will receive a digital Acadame certificate. The certificate will be forwarded at a later date. A proof of pass can be immediately provided if required though.
Certification for this course is valid for 3 years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to take a refresher course before the expiry date.
