The course covers understanding the role and responsibilities of a first aider, assessing incidents, providing CPR, managing unresponsive casualties, treating choking, external bleeding, shock, minor injuries, burns and scalds, fractures, head, spinal and chest injuries, eye injuries, sudden poisoning, anaphylaxis, and suspected major illnesses.
