This CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTS-R) course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or a subsequent refresher course and can provide proof of attendance.
The refresher updates your health and safety knowledge, offering a comprehensive review of legislative changes and their workplace implications. It builds on the content of the original course while introducing new topics. Please note that failing to attend the refresher before an existing certificate expires will require participants to re-enter the scheme by completing the full SMSTS course to maintain their qualification.

The refresher course is exclusively for individuals who have successfully completed the five-day SMSTS or a subsequent refresher course and hold a valid SMSTS certificate. Proof of eligibility must be provided. If a certificate cannot be presented, the online card checker can be used to confirm whether the individual currently holds a valid SMSTS certification.
