Emergency First Aid At Work Course For Low-Risk Workplaces, Appointed First Aiders & 1 Day Workplace First Aid Certification
The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course is a practical, accredited programme designed for individuals who need the knowledge and confidence to act quickly when a workplace emergency happens. Delivered by Acadame, this QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work helps candidates develop the essential first aid skills needed to respond to incidents such as an unresponsive casualty, choking, external bleeding, shock, and minor injuries.
This emergency first aid at work training is ideal for lower-risk workplaces, smaller teams, or organisations that have identified through their first aid needs assessment that a trained emergency first aider is appropriate. UK employers must make suitable first aid arrangements based on their workplace hazards, workforce, and working environment, and some businesses may need trained first aiders rather than only an appointed person.
Throughout the day, candidates take part in practical activities and guided scenarios that help build real confidence, not just theoretical knowledge. The course covers core life-saving actions including CPR, the recovery position, dealing with choking, controlling life-threatening bleeding, and providing first aid for common workplace incidents. HSE guidance also makes clear that employers should assess the likely first aid needs of their workplace and ensure the provision is appropriate.
Acadame delivers this 1 day first aid course at training centres in Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Manchester and Liverpool. We can also deliver onsite nationwide for employers, and through our managed service and trusted partner network we can often help open up local delivery options across the UK for businesses needing training in other areas.
Fire safety and first aid often go hand in hand. Fire Marshal / Warden training helps strengthen your wider emergency preparedness and evacuation arrangements.
