QNUK First Aid at Work Refresher (FAW-R) Course

Candidate practising CPR during QNUK Level 3 First Aid at Work 2 Day Refresher training course
About Course

Acadame’s 2 Day level 3 First Aid at Work Refresher course is a QNUK-accredited requalification course for candidates who already hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and need to renew it before it expires. This course covers the same core outcomes as the full 3 Day First Aid at Work course, but in a more compact format designed for those refreshing existing knowledge and practical competence.

The course allows qualified workplace first aiders to update their skills, refresh their confidence and maintain their ability to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace incidents and medical emergencies. Candidates will revisit essential first aid procedures including incident assessment, CPR, recovery position, choking, bleeding control, shock, burns, fractures, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, poisoning and major illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, asthma attacks and diabetic emergencies.

This First Aid at Work refresher course is suitable for candidates whose existing First Aid at Work certificate is still in date within the three-year validity period and who need to renew it without taking the full three-day course again. It provides an efficient route for employers and first aiders to maintain compliance and keep trained personnel in place.

Acadame delivers First Aid at Work Refresher courses in Stoke, Derby, Manchester and Liverpool, with onsite first aid refresher training available nationwide for employer groups. Through our managed service and training partner network, we can also help arrange local delivery options across the UK.
