To provide the learner with the theoretical and practical skills to undertake non-licensed works with ACM’s. Persons requiring this type of training would include trade operatives undertaking tasks with ACM’s as defined in HSG210 and in accordance with CAR 2012 Reg 3(2). Persons requiring this type of training would include those whose work will knowingly disturb low risk asbestos containing materials, such as maintenance workers and their supervisors; and those who carry out asbestos sampling and analysis
This one-day session is aimed at: • People who operate water jetting equipment. • A personal copy of the appropriate code of practice for water jetting “Red or Blue code” is provided during the course and this document is used as a reference throughout. • People who manage and design tasks using water jetting equipment. The Safety awareness card / certificate is valid for three years before it needs to be renewed for a further three years.
