Our IOSH Managing Safely course is designed to provide managers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills to manage safety effectively in the workplace. In the controlling risks module, you’ll be introduced to ‘reasonably practicable’. It refers to your legal obligation, under the Health and Safety Act 1974, to reduce risks in the workplace so that everyone is safe.

The IOSH Managing Safely qualification assessment includes a final exam and a practical risk assessment project. Both elements are designed to test your understanding and ability to apply key principles in your workplace.
You can attend classroom sessions at our course centres in Stoke-on-Trent or choose live online delivery from anywhere in the UK. On-site and eLearning options are also available for businesses looking to train multiple staff members.

The certificate is valid for life, but IOSH recommends refreshing your knowledge every five years to stay up to date with the latest best practices and legislation in health and safety.
