SHEA Gas is our one day Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness scheme for those working on operational sites. A CSCS Alliance scheme. It is developed in collaboration with employers and key stakeholders from across the industries in our sector, so the content is relevant – all helping to improve the safety of the workforce and reduce costs associated with injury, illness or accidents.
The Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness, or SHEA (Power) scheme is designed for all persons who require access to operational sites within the Electricity industry, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.
This card is affiliated with CSCS and will allow holders access to construction sites for the purposes of utility work without a separate CSCS card. Therefore, SHEA Water Passport training is perfect for water industry workers from operatives through to management.
Overview This Endorsed Training Programme is provided by Technical Innovation Servis. The course is intended to guide operators and supervisors to deliver best and safe practice for Hydrostatic pressure testing within their industry. The course provides a clear, concise understanding of Hydrostatic pressure testing from service pipes to trunk Mains.
The National Water Hygiene Card Scheme is delivered to both direct employees of water companies, and all contractors that work on the restricted operations sites such as service reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment works, wells, spring and boreholes and working on the network of water mains and service pipes. The aim of the National Water Hygiene Card Scheme is to provide an understanding of the need for good hygiene when working with potable water.
If you work in the UK water network, a clean water site or are in any way involved in handling water for human consumption, you are required to hold a National Water Hygiene EUSR registration. By successfully completing this half day virtual training course, you will understand the vital role you play in protecting the public and ensuring a safe drinking water supply, whether you’re in direct contact with the water or not.
