Training your workforce to be proficient in first aid is important to handle unforeseen circumstances.
Our First Aid at Work courses aim to deliver important information regarding first aid in an engaging and easily understandable manner, giving your workers the confidence needed to handle incidents. Show a strong commitment to your employees’ safety and the success of your business by prioritising workplace first aid training.
Our courses are customised to cover all areas of first aid at work, from casualties requiring CPR, to broken bones or cuts. We know that each business is different, and therefore may need distinct first aid knowledge. For this reason our training modules can be altered to accommodate a range of experience levels and industry needs.
Our QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Course provides learners with essential knowledge to manage a wide range of incidents which may occur in the workplace. This comprehensive three-day program instils confidence in participants to effectively respond to situations requiring a first aider’s attention.
Another option lies in our single day QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Course. This focused program allows participants to gain the skills and knowledge needed to combat situations which may arise needing the attention of a first aid trained worker.
Alternatively, for those who have already received First Aid Training prior, our two day QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Refresher Course provides a convenient opportunity for those wishing to refresh their knowledge. Participants will review best practices for assessing incidents, managing unresponsive casualties, administering CPR, and addressing various other first aid scenarios.
Employers must conduct a thorough assessment of first-aid needs prior to training, taking into consideration workplace hazards, risks, company size, and other relevant factors. Understanding and evaluating your organization’s first aid requirements is a critical step as it informs the provision of necessary first-aid equipment, facilities, and personnel.
However, if you require assistance with this process, our consultancy service is available to support you. HSE leaflets are also available which contain a valuable checklist to aid employers in conducting a comprehensive assessment.
