Suitable for both novice and experienced operators, the training focuses on compliance with health and safety legislation and best practices to reduce risks and improve efficiency. Upon successful completion, candidates receive a nationally recognised NPORS operator card, valid for five years, confirming their competence and commitment to safe and proficient loader compressor operation.

  • Identify and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable for loader compressor use. 
  • Prepare the loader compressor for use, including starting procedures and ensuring safe operation. 
  • Operate the loader compressor safely and efficiently, adhering to best practices and manufacturer guidelines. 
  • Recognise and assess potential hazards in the work area, including underground services, overhead cables, and ground conditions.
  • Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper attachment and detachment of implements. 
  • Perform end-of-shift procedures, including equipment shutdown, maintenance, and storage.
