This CITB SSSTS course, delivered by the experts at Acadame, covers all relevant legislation regarding safe working in the building, construction, and civil engineering industries. Highlighting the need for risk assessment in the workplace, we will reinforce the importance of necessary control measures, and adequate communication. This will all be done with the need to sustain an appropriate health and safety culture in mind.
Our Staffordshire SSSTS course is endorsed by Build UK and exceeds the standard set by CITB for construction supervisors training.
The short answer is no, an SSSTS certificate is not enough to allow you to gain a gold managers CSCS card in the construction industry, or any CSCS card for that matter. It is however a mandatory requirement for many construction sites and a great way to increase your skills and knowledge when it comes to supervising health and safety on construction sites.
If you do need a Gold Supervisory CSCS Card, you need to look at either:
CITB pay grants for the achievement of approved short courses, which last from 3 hours to 29 days and are focused on the core construction skills needed across the industry.
