Suitability

Who should do this course

Many companies require employees to complete both a safety course and a company induction before being allowed access to a site or premises. Combining this training with a site induction enhances the safety of employees and contractors across the Liverpool area, mitigating risks to themselves and others. The CCNSG card is valid for three years, after which individuals must undertake a one-day CCNSG Renewal course.

Assessment

How someone is measured

The course is assessed by 80 multi-choice questions covering all the topics in the syllabus. These may be delivered as four 20 question tests (one after each half-day) or two 40 question tests (at the end of each day).

If all the tests are passed (1 resit is allowed) the candidate will be issued with a CCNSG Safety Passport card.

Who is ECITB?

The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the employer-led skills, standards and qualifications body for the development of the engineering construction workforce of Great Britain. An arms-length body of the UK Government, the ECITB reports to the Department for Education.

The course is held over 2 days.

Will I be issued with a certificate upon successful ECITB CCNSG Safety Passport completion?

No. However, after successfully completing the course or test, a card will be issued by ECITB for a further three years
